I was really happy with how my first prototype turned out, constructed simply of cardboard and wooden dowels. It was true to my original sketches, and looked even better in 3D than I could’ve imagined. I loved how aggressive it looked, while also clearly addressing the meaning the Blue Jay has had throughout history and the physical needs of the Blue Jay.
